Wigan at Wigan

I've said for a long time that I don't think we'll get relegated but if there is one manager you don't really want in this situation it's David O'Leary.

He has demonstrated since the day he started in football management that he's bloody useless. The fact that we are three games from the end of the season and we could still go down is reason enough to sign the petition.

We need Birmingham City to lose tomorrow night when Blackburn visit St Andrews to be assured of safety but if they win there is still a chance that David O'Leary could make history, albeit slight.

Tonight Wigan deserved to beat us because they took their chances. If it ended in a draw I think most would be satisfied but Wigan would have felt cheated.

It was a lively game and the Villa support were fantastic for the 22nd away game this season but it wasn't the same as having 36,000 cheering for you. Make no mistake, the only reason Villa won on Sunday was the support, it had absolutely nothing to do with O'Leary.

Juan Pablo Angel and Liam Ridgewell scored for Aston Villa. The whole team gave 100% but you just can't help but see that the football is average, if not poor.

Expect to see banners at Villa Park either way for Manchester City. If he's not gone they'll be calling for him to go and if he is they'll be draped for the new man to show him our support. Hopefully it will be Cowans for the last three matches!

Sign the petition to get O'Leary sacked.
