Arsenal through as Real and Beckham fail to score

It wasn't a good week for English teams in Europe but a great night for Arsenal who defended well enough to hold off Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League.

Chelsea and current holders Liverpool were knocked out and all hope of an English team doing well in this tournament rest with Arsenal

Will they do us proud? Who knows. Liverpool won the bloody thing last year and couldn't score against Benfica at home so anything is possible.

One thing is for sure though and that is it doesn't matter who Arsenal play in the next round - they all deserve to be in it and they are all going to be tough games.
