Mourinho faces biggest test as Chelsea manager: Barcelona

Chelsea didn't want to face Barcelona at this stage of the Champions League. They would have far rather faced reigning Champions Liverpool or to be honest anyone else but they've got the short straw.

Barcelona have suggested that Chelsea have allowed the Stamford Bridge pitch to get worse to favour Chelsea when Barcelona play on Wednesday but Mourinho has said today "Sometimes you see beautiful people with no brains. Sometimes you have ugly people who are intelligent, like scientists,"

"Our pitch is a bit like that. From the top it's a disgrace but the ball rolls at normal speed."

You've got to love him but I suspect after Wednesday not many Chelsea fans will be talking positive things of the manager.

The problem with winning the Premiership is the fans will start to demand more. The Premiership is pretty much in the bag again for this seasons so the only natural thing Chelsea fans can call for is to win the Champions League but I suspect they'll not continue from this round however much I'd like them to.

This isn't a warm up like Liverpool have got this week against Benfica, Chelsea have to go out and win and probably win by a few if they are to stand any chance of winning in Spain. I want Chelsea to get through but I'm predicting a draw. Probably two each.
