Newcastle manager Graeme Souness has got the sack and with a bit of luck they'll be coming on for David O'Leary.
Normally I wouldn't have thought any club would come in for our manager but Newcastle went in for Souness in the first place which in my humble opinion was the wrong so they might think bringing in O'Leary a good thing - his wife still lives in the area and we all know O'Leary isn't really at Villa for the long haul.
A statement on the Newcastle website said "The employment of Graeme Souness has been terminated with immediate effect and an announcement will be made shortly regarding transitional arrangements pending the appointment of a new team manager."
Souness goes after picking up only one point in six Premiership matches.
