Arsenal to pay ?15mn for Southampton youngster

According to the BBC this morning Arsenal are about to pay a record fee for twelve year old Southampton super star Theo Walcott.
Now, I'm no mathematician but that sounds like a helluva lot of money for a kid who is unproven - nobody can be proven at 16 years old.
I'm sure Arsene Wenger knows what he is doing but I hope this doesn't blow up in his face - it's happened to him before when buying young and expensive.
