Spurs beat Birmingham City, nice

Tottenham Hostspur beat Birmingham City today 2-0 with goals from Robbbie Keane and Jermain Defoe to further heap the pressure on Steve Bruce.

My only worry for Bruce now is if his chairman of chief executive do not come out fully backing the manager - something they've done 18 times this season already.

Spurs played well - they knew what they had to do and they did it. White Hart Lane isn't the easiest place to go visit this season and Spurs knew this.

Nice also to see a Birmingham player getting sent off for two bookable offences - only because he's one fo their 'better' players.

Well done Spurs - another nail in the coffin. Birmingham now have to play Chelsea, United and Wigan in the next week - with a bit of luck or a miracle they could even be bottom going into the new year and they can have a new manager in David O'Leary.
