O'Leary has been called a lot of things during his time in football and since the performance last night you can add (or probably not) spineless, waste of space, inept and football fool to that list. The best thing that can happen for Aston Villa Football Club is he is sacked today.

Many who come here regularly will know I've been publicly against David O'Leary literally since the day he was appointed and after his first season, although I would complain about the football, he did finish 6th so I thought he should be given another 6 months. Nothing changed and since then I have been calling for him to go.

All we need now is the decision to be made from those who always seem to give him another chance when we get a draw or victory.

This is simply not good enough for Aston Villa. This is his third season surely we should have developed as a team by now and there are no more excuses.

The writing is all over the place. Carlton Cole had a go. Just a couple of weeks ago, one of 'his' players came out and blamed the manger for where we find ourselves. These things are not mistakes or slip of the tongues.

Doug Ellis said it is the players that sack managers - surely Mr Ellis they are calling for him to go!
