Sky Sports are reporting that Villa have been watching 29-year-old Swansea striker Lee Trundle.
Trundle, who's scored 17 in 17 this season, has proven himself at League One, but I'm unsure on whether he'll cut the mustard in the Premiership.
Like McLeod, who Sky Sports also link us with, it will be a serious risk to bring in a striker from the lower leagues and we don'y exactly have bags of money to spend on them.
Everton, Charlton and Wigan have also been linked with the player.
