Teenage goalkeeper Wayne Henderson looks set to join Brighton permanently in January, a number of media sources have reported over the last 48 hours.

Henderson's 3-month loan deal came to end a few weeks back and Bighton manager Mark McGhee is keen on signing the player permanenetly, particularly after some excellent displays for the south coast side.

Villa are expecting a nominal fee for the 'keeper to cover the costs of developing the player, much akin to the deal for Stefan Moore's transfer to QPR.

Henderson is currently fourth in the pecking order, with Postma, Taylor and Sorenson between him and the no 1 jersey.

Postma looks set to make his loan at Wolves permanent in January too.
