Villa failed in Angel for Morientes swap deal |

icBirmingham have today stated on their website that David O'Leary failed in an attempt to swap Juan Pablo Angel for Fernando Morintes with Liverpool!
The audacious deal was scuppered by Benitez, despite being a big fan of Angel.
Benitez tried to sign Angel a few times for Valencia, but was knocked back by O'Leary.
And now he has 'returned' the favour by refusing to allow Morientes to leave.
