Charlton after J'Lloyd

Charlton manager Alan Curbishley is interested in bringing J'Lloyd Samuel back to the club he left to join Villa.

Despite having adequate cover for the left-back berth at the current moment in time, once Spector has returned to Manchester United there will be a requirement.

Chris Powell is looking like he won't continue playing for the Addicks past this season and J'Lloyd could be ideal for Curbishley as he already knows the manager and the club.

However, Villa have little left-back cover at every level in the club so a sale seems unlikely.
