Villa carrying out Comer Group checks |

The Guardian this morning increased speculation on the ol' takeover talk by declaring that Villa are currently carrying out their own financial checks on the consortium, which they state is led by the Comer Brothers.
They also say that the Comer Group have not as-of-yet provided proof of funds and Villa are currently studying facts to determine whether or not to pursue the interest of the party's bid.
