Speculation has mounted (again) at Villa, but this time only around a player.
Rumour has it that David O'Leary was watching 24-year old Serbia & Montenegro and Spartak Moscow defender Nemenja Vidic.
O'Leary was in Russia on Sunday when Sky Sports News tracked him down for comment on the potential takeover.
O'Leary wouldn't comment on his interest, which is probably because his big mouth landed him in hot water over the best-player-we-never-signed, James 'the Joker' Beattie.
