Blues slip up, Chelsea romp and Spurs draw

Birmingham City lost to fellow struggler's Everton today 1-0 at home and slipped a further place down the table. Now there is only one spot worse for Blues in the Premiership table - bottom.

I'm not gloating by writing about this but if I were Steve Bruce I'd be very worried about my position - regardless of what the CEO says in the papers.

Spurs, although looking a lot better than Arsenal this season and in Martin Jol appear to have found a manager able to take them to the next level failed to capitalise with home advantage and failed to take the three points from North London rivals Arsenal. Paul Robinson will be apologising to his team mates this evening.

Chelsea go from strength to strength and despite an early scare scored four to beat Blackburn and are now 40 matches unbeaten.

Back to Blues and they are nearly a third of the way through the season and are just getting worse. Will this be the season that we see Blues back to where they belong?
