Fan Opinion: Juan Pablo Angel
Written by Luke

Well, the Burnley game certainly drew a few reactions from some of the Villa faithful and Chris Cooper is the latest fan to give his view on the team, in particular Juan Pablo Angel, the Colombian International and general waster of good chances.

This is what Chris had to say: -

"Couldn?t agree more with your comments, particularly regarding Angel. Someone has already said this- he is no more than a passenger. It?s almost embarrassing to watch:

He backs out of every challenge
He has no awareness and is constantly offside
He has no pace
He shows no desire or confidence in the box
He shies away from any potential for a scoring opportunity

In short his is a shambling disgrace and could not survive in any professional English league ~ Luke Moore did more in his 12 minutes than Angel has done in two games!!

He has to go soon."

Well, Angel's lack of productiveness has not gone unnoticed and unless something happens quickly - like he's sold - then we're gonna have a very expensive reserve team bench warmer on our hands.

What do you think? Do you rate the hero of O'Leary's debut season? Let me know at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
