Following Villa's below-par and uninspiring performance, regular Villa Park goer Darren Sheehan had this to say about last night's victory over Burnley:
"Morning Luke, I was at the game last night what a load of crock."
"Villa lacked stamina, desire and passion. I know we won the game but only just in my opinion. Milner won man of the match and did play well, but McCann in midfield played with grit; He did really well.
"As for Angel, he has got to go. O'Dreary is giving him too many chances to play just 'cause he's his neighbour. He was shocking. He has no confidence on the ball and lacks the killer instinct we all saw in him 2 seasons ago. I think he needs to go in January to make way for Robbie Keane in my eyes.
"Super Kev played very well- he was all over the pitch for 70 out of the 90mins. Samuel is def unfit; he didnt run for any of the balls and as far as I saw he only had 1 decent tackle all game.
"To be honest, I'm glad the game was only ?10 as I've seen better Sunday football up the local park. I'm all for getting rid of O'Dreary now, although not sure if Burley would be the right man for the job. But who knows, in all Aston Villa Football Club needs help desperately and soon to get the passion back in the club."
Many thanks to Darren for those comments. IS O'Leary the right man for the job? I'm having doubts...
