Is Blues now the 'must win'?

This decision is up to two people. David O'Leary himself or our esteemed Chairman Doug Ellis. I would urge Doug Ellis not to fire David O'Leary.

Well, not until he has found a replacement and when looking for that replacement he should hire a professional firm to search and not just rely on applications or searching the unemployed manager list.

If David O'Leary had had a good season last year or if I thought he was making a difference I wouldn't be on his back now but he didn't and he isn't so I am.

For many people Middlesbrough was a must win game, will Blues now become that must win game or the one after that if we lose to them again?

I personally think we'll beat Blues this time only because they don't have Robbie Savage in midfield and it has to happen eventually but for me if David O'Leary is managing the team and we do win it's still not good enough - for those two reasons and plenty more - but I suspect it will appease many.

I for one would like to see him gone but I never wanted him at Villa Park in the first place. He said today after the game "The supporters demand to be entertained and I try and set my team up to go an entertain, but we didn't do that - and people will voice their opinions as they have done today".

Does David O'Leary not understand that the vast majority of Aston Villa supporters would rather see a win before entertaining football!

Sometimes I see little bits of football that make me think he is making a difference but I don't see enough. I liked how Sorensen passed the ball out to Bouma today instead of hoofing it but then it never happened again.

It annoys me that we tend to play our best football or atleast seem more up for it when we're chasing a game - why can't we have that attitude when we kick off?

I don't want to hear his excuses, I don't want to read all the garbage that I know will be published on the official web site next week and most of all I just want to see the players do their talking on the football pitch.

For Christmas I want O'Leary gone and a new manager in, that's all. If it happens sooner then thank you.
