A look back to Spurs

With all the speculation surrounding a possible takeover of Aston Villa, David O'Leary probably thinks he has gotten off lightly after another poor result at the weekend.

Okay, a point isn't the worst but at home and against Spurs, I wanted all three, especially after the result from Monday night and because I think we have the squad to beat Spurs.

David O'Leary really is walking a very thin line at the moment. Six points from 6 games is relegation form and Villa are just lucky that there are teams below us that are doing just as bad if not a little worse.

Villa and Spurs both had seven shots on target, the game was evenly matched with Baros and Milner standing out for Villa. The penalty save from Sorensen turned out to be crucial.

Spurs played the better football in my opinion but Villa didn't stop running and chased every ball - if only they could do that in every match!

I'm still disappointed we didn't get all three points but I'm not surprised.
