Rallying Cries: This time Barry

When will Aston Villa understand that the vast majority of us do not want to read the same garbage week in week out from their web site.

If Villa lose the next week you are pretty much guaranteed a rallying cry. Last season I lost count of how many we had and it's already started this year.

It's Gareth Barry this time - the player insists Villa must stand up and be counted after crashing to an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at West Ham.

The site also tells us that a win today would see us level on points with Spurs - what it doesn't say is if Villa lose and clubs below us get good results we could be in the relegation zone.

Barry commented on the official web site "We must show them and the rest of the Premiership that we are not going to be easy takings in this division".

"Tottenham are probably not the team you want to be facing after a heavy defeat like that because they have been in good form and are looking strong.

"We have got to show we are strong characters and give our crowd what they deserve - a win."

All good talk from the player and the site but isn't it about time that the club let the team do their talking on the pitch on not on the site.
