Villa to go back in for Huth?

Reports emanating in the British press today have suggested that David O'Leary may be back in for Chelsea's giant defender Robert Huth when the transfer window re-opens in January.

O'Leary tried to sign the German stopper on loan before the summer transfer window closed, but was rebuffed by Chelsea.

Huth is going to need to play regular football if he is to stake his claim for a place in hosts' Germany's squad for next years highly anticipated World Cup tournament.

While a permanent transfer is probably not viable at this stage, a loan deal could be ideal for the final half of the season.
