Moore completes Baggies move

As Matt mentioned yesterday, it looked like Luke Moore was about to seal his move to WBA.

The club have announced this morning that the deal has gone through, although they haven't specified a fee. Sky Sports claim it is £3m upfront, but don't specify what the fee could rise to, which isn't bad going for someone with a return of 14 goals in 87 games.

I was a big fan of Luke but behind the scenes it became apparent he had a slight attitude problem and never gave 100%. That is never going to get you into Martin O'Neill's team on a permanent basis.

While Marlene is not as talented as Luke, he always gives 100% and runs like it is his last game. That is why the Villa Park faithful give more respect to a player with limited talent than a born and bred Villa youngster.

He is likely to be replaced in the squad with Nathan Delfouneso although there are rumours of other young strikers coming into the squad, namely Habib "Haribo" Habibou.

I wish Luke all the best but wish he had given more in his time at Villa as he could've been great. Don't be surprised if he follows the route of his brother Stefan.

Good luck! Lets use that 3.5 Million to get Mattock and Stearman. Or Scannell from palace! Or even Dunne!

That's the Mirror.

I always dreamed Moore could make it but apparently he got involved with some bad people while laid off with an injury. When he and Gabby were either side of Carew we were unstoppable, then he got injured. If only...

Had high hopes for him, pity he never really got anywhere near fulfilling his potential at Villa

Ireland play Columbia on Thursday evening in London, it will be interesting to see if MON attends. We've been linked to a trio of Irish internationals. Personally I'd love to see Dunne join - quality with Laursen. Doyle could be a good addition to squad with Europe in mind. Duffer has lost a little pace and possibly lacks confidence at the mo but he would benefit from the MON treatment... what do you think...? :'(

HOORAY!

His brother went off down a league, failed, then dropped down some "moore" and still failed, they are both failures, compared to wayne rooney at 16, he and his brother both must of just not tryed at all, they were made to be failures, deserve to be on the doll

Luke Moore:

Will be remembered for being brilliant in the first season of FM07 until you flog him to West Ham for 17million and then he turns into Emile Heskey.

I also hear Maloney is considering his future at VP. Something is not right.
