| I think we should all immediately start panicking and throw our season tickets at O'Neill whilst grunting. |

The post says he 'helped' Wembley go over budget and then worries about him leaving? Ever thought he was sacked as he wasn't good enough? The statement from the club is what you expect whether he did an amazing job or was caught stealing hub caps from players cars. Why's everything got to be a conspiracy/problem? |

I think this is either because, as Damian says, Lerner is the man in charge and he just wants someone in the country on a permanent basis to 'do his will', or he's been fired over not getting a good enough shirt sponsor for next season and the club are trying not to burn bridges - making a kind statement instead. I don't think it breaks any regulations as we're not listed as a PLC on the stock exchange any more - I think you just need 1 director and 1 secretary for a private, limited company. It is a bit concerning, but I'm sure things will settle down eventually and I'd rather read this sort of news than the kind of news the average Liverpool fan has to read about their board. |

These people will have a probably brought in to get us through the progression of changing times at Villa and they were probably aware that they would be in a for short time to get us steady as a business. Now that thats done we will probably look more long term. As long as the names leaving the club in senior positions aren't called Randy Lerner or Martin O'Neil, I'm really not that bothered. |

Lots of fat cats move around from companys you find sometimes they are there for particular projects which can last weeks, months to years. We will never find out the reasons why. I really wouldn't read too much into it. |

| For me this sholdnt be brushed under the carpet, however it is pointless worrying as it does not directly affect the supporters, even so we shouldnt laugh at something we know nothing about. The guy who wrote the missing money post a few months back said then that this was an area for concern as well as selling the best players, with the CEO gone and Barry still in limbo we need to be careful with our expectations. |
