Luke Moore is undergoing a medical at Championship side West Brom and will likely join them on loan until the end of the season.

After the loan deal he is set to make the move permanent in a £3.5mn. deal in the summer.

Moore had so much promise but he's clearly not looked that interested since Martin O'Neill took over and this move is probably going to be very good for him.

Moore has scored twice this season, against Wrexham in the Carling Cup and Bolton away - not a bad return from someone who has only played three full games all season.

Do you actually watch the Villa Damien? If you did you would know that he has actually started 9 games this season and appeared as a sub in a further 9. He played most of the games when Carew was injured and as I recall started in teh 2-0 win against Chelsea!

Moore got the nod and seemed uninterested, lacked passion and commitment not only for the club but for his own personal career. Good luck to Luke, him and his brother were good servants of the club. The Chelsea goals and youth cup were good memories. He'll add some AV class to the Baggies along with King Kev. Martin is clearly looking to add quality for serious Euro contention and by my reckoning if we are selling players like Luke we can look forward to some serious strikers coming in.

I think he will do well there, but I would have prefered if MON had arranged a deal where we could have £4Mn/£5Mn of Davis's price tag. He still might be able to do this you never know, but still £3.5Mn for him we cant complain.
