Bakke to sign until January

As first revealed by Kevin, on Sunday, Villa are in talks with Leeds midfielder Eirik Bakke about a loan move to Villa.

Bakke's agent, Rune Hauge, told www.dagbladet.no "Eirik is going to Villa. He will be loaned out until January. Then we will see what will happen. We are working on the final details now."

O'Leary has been looking to strengthen his midfield for sometime, but bringing in a Championship player is surely risky business?

Bakke has only made four starts since April 2004 due to injury, but is hoping for a better spell at Villa Park. He is thought to be one of the last of Leeds' players on Premiership wages after their relegation in 2003.
