We've had a very successful last four weeks and if things were to continue at this level throughout the season we'd be £360 up by the end of it.
You'd have to be a fool, or David O'Leary, to say you wouldn't be happy with that and I would be, however I'd like it to be a little more, which is why I've decided to make a slight change.
The change is not in matches or number of bets but in the type of bet. I must also admit, that as a relative novice when it comes to football betting I didn't know you could do this, so thanks to the guys at Paddy Power for pointing it out and paying for all my bets.
The name of the bet changes based on the number of matches in your bet. To give you an example, if you were to bet on seven matches it would be called Sixfolds from 7 and five matches is called, you guessed it, Fourfolds from 5.
The concept. I'm sure is quite simple but I'm not going to go into detail. All I know is, if one of my matches doesn't come in then I'm okay and can still win; not as much, but I'll still win, as long as it's only one match that doesn't come in.
For those of you who regularly bet then you'll know what this is, for me it's come as a bonus and one that if I was playing with since the start of the season would see us quite a bit over the total amount bet.
This week I was only going to use it on my big bet as I've won with the last four banker bets but I picked it by mistake. As of next week I'll only use it for one bet each time.
Banker Bet using Fourfolds from 5 Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Spurs and Arsenal. A £10 bet pays out £37.81 or it would have been £52.60 had I not used this system.
Big Football Bet using Sixfolds from 7 Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Spurs, Arsenal, Portsmouth and West Ham. A £9.80 bet pays out £150.40 or it would have been £236.69 had I not used the system.
I'm hoping this new system works and we're going to give it a go. We'll soon find out.
