The weekly James Blunt and no David O'Leary in sight

See what I've done? James Blunt is rhyming slang for ... actually I should probably leave that alone. Made me smile though.

To the bets; fortunately Aston Villa don't kick off until 5.15pm so I haven't had to have a flutter on them, which if it turns out nice, could cause a problem or two in the future.

I'm also very grateful for the two lovely ladies I'm dealing with over at Paddy Power who are paying for the bets. I think they think they're going to make on the deal based on my poor betting show so far this season but after my recent success and certain teams starting to form a solid run, I'm fairly confident of putting together a few financial wins myself.

We'll have to wait and see but you'll always be able to see a running total to the right on all news pages and the homepage and Paddy Power are paying for the rest of this year.

Banker Bet
Arsenal (W), Manchester City (W) and Chelsea (W) - a £10 bet pays £31.03.

3pm Kick Off Bet
Arsenal (W), Manchester City (W), Chelsea (W), Blackburn (W), Fulham (W), Portsmouth (W) - a £10 bet pays out £221.15.

Now, I'm treading very carefully when I say this, but if you like a flutter and you don't have an account with Paddy Power, I can recommend them. The interface is nice and simple and registering is also very quick. To top it all off, if you do it by clicking on this link the two girls that I'm dealing with might start email flirting with me and I might make some money!
