A Sunday rumour, a winning Saturday football bet, the new manager of Chelsea and new club website

It wouldn't be Sunday without a made up rumour from one of the tabloid rags and today the newspaper not letting us down is the Sunday People.

They've received a telephone call from the agent of Ipswich midfielder Danny Haynes who is either after a new contract for his player or his agent thinks he's got a bit of talent and is trying to generate some interest at Premier League level.

I know nothing about this player other than he's supposed to be 19 years old but I really wouldn't believe that judging by the source of the rumour. In fact I've not even double checked to see if he is actually an Ipswich player.

This is the People, people, so it will be absolute tosh.

Anyway, on a happier note I won my first bet of the season yesterday when I predicted Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all came in for me.

Basically now the big boys have got into their strike predicting matches will be a lot easier and we should start to see that winning number to the right increase over the next dew weeks.

Oh and this is just another rumour and I can't really say where it was heard, other than it was a very blue room, but the next manager of Chelsea will be none other than Jose Mourinho.

Apparently nobody is really that interested working for a Chairman that picks the players and advisors are telling him that Jose would come back tomorrow and that it may be the best option for all parties and especially for the fortunes of Chelsea.

Again, it's just another rumour, that is probably fabricated from the same rubbish as all the other rumours.

Lastly, the new club website is coming today, or atleast we have been told it is coming. I won't be surprised if it doesn't as it was supposed to be the start of the season which they missed also. But we were told.

Ive seen Danny Haynes play a few times, he has bags of pace a good first touch and an eye for goal, but having said all that he cannot hold down a regular place in the Ipswich side, so there must be a doubt in Magiltons mind. He has come up through their youth system and might be worth a chance as one for the future.
