Raffle now closed!

We've pushed the boat out and decided to take two places for the Football Aid match that happens in May at Villa Park and you have a chance of playing in the match, if you want it that is.

Basically we're going to run a raffle and each ticket will cost £10. We've decided to limit the number of ticket sales to 100, so we're basically hoping to raise £1000, with everything going to Football Aid and Field of Dreams.

So, for your chance to play at Villa Park all you've got to do is click on the raffle ticket below and pay £10 via PayPal. Your name will then be entered into the draw, that Football Aid will make for us, some time in December.

We have two places up for grabs, numbers 6 and 14 for the home team so if you get picked out you'll get your own shirt made up and you'll play 45 minutes in claret and blue at Villa Park, with spectators.

We will be pushing this because it's for a really good cause so if you don't enter now you will always be able to click on the Football Aid banner on the homepage and be taken to this article with details on how to enter.

There is also no limit to the number of tickets you can buy so if you want a greater chance of winning buy two, three or more.

Our target, to cover the costs of the two places is 55 tickets. We'll like to sell another 45 on top which would mean £450 donated to Field of Dreams. It's not a lot but with your help, we will be able to make it.

We've now decided to limit the number of raffle tickets to 100 so the chances of winning are even greater. If you're an Aston Villa fan can you really not buy a raffle ticket to stand a chance of playing at Villa Park?

This is a great compition, what a prize, could make to Villa Park out of luck rather than skill.

Isn't that how Liam Ridgewell got there.

I did the coca-cola one 8 years back now at the old wembley. Fab day can't beat scoring in front of the Holte End now that is living the dream.
