The International Punt: From Russia with love

I'm keeping it simple for tomorrow night and I'm not backing England to win in either of my bets. Mostly because this way they probably will win knowing my luck.

It's two simple £5 bets on not that many matches and if Russia come in at 7/1 I'd be very happy, assuming of course the other bets I have running in that slip come in too.

A quick run down of the two bets and what the winnings could be are:

England to Lose
With wins for Slovenia, Czech Republic and Belgium would pay out £188.80.

England to Draw
With wins for Slovenia, Czech Republic and Portugal would pay out £68.80.

That big fat zero is starting to look a little embarrassing so I'm thinking about asking a bookmaker to take a bet that I don't win one bet all season. What odds do you think I'd get?

I can't see a bookie giving you long odds on you not winning any bets, because it's essentially in your power. You could deliberately make stupid bets and put lots of money on you never winning, and you'd clean them out.

Villa's new training complex is only equaled by Man Utd and Barcelona in facilities and support at professional level, so how can Langham say Hibs of all clubs have better facilities ???? We are the only other club along with Man Utd in the Uk to have under water rehabilitation and conditioning setups and a full size heated indoor training pitch. what a joker !!! And Damien, I hope you lose you bets, England must win mate.

You've seen Arsenals ? what the outside ? the inside facilities ? Arsenals is impressive, so is a lot of the top Premiership clubs, they have to be to provide the best possible preperation for the League and other competitions, but Villa have the absolute cutting edge facilities from pools, to gym machines, therapy rooms, medical facilities etc...only rivaled by Man U and Barca. The new BMH isn't even finished yet either, with a lot of american sports science facilities being introduced by Randy's team from over the pond. So be surprised Damien....

i'v ebeen inside at arsenals. it' snear st albans.

basically they've got everything you've said above and more. they didn't have an indoor training facility when i was there, but you never know these days ..

they've also got in an inhouse chef who basically prepares individual meals for all the players

it was very very impressive. but like i said, i've only seen bodymoor on video and while it looks pretty impressive arsenals was also

I live very near London Colney where the Arse have their training ground, the last time I was there they used coats for goal posts!! Still, they have lots of bollards and tyres (M25 next door).

Sorry about Damian blowing his bet (not). Wasn't GB good? The whole BBC panel seemed to say that he has made the position his (with the exception of Wrighty - 'cos GB is not his son).
