Okay, it wasn't just Shaun Maloney and Luke Moore but I wanted to use that title because I used one very similar after the Fulham result at the weekend. I rate these two players very very highly.
Maloney scored two while Moore, Reo-Coker and Harewood also got one each. Nice for Reo-Coker and Harewood but also very nice for Moore as he changed the game for me against Fulham.
While I only listened to the game on the radio I didn't hear much of Gabby and when I did I wasn't impressed. Yes, I know this is just the radio, but when you don't hear a players name that often and when you do it's unimpressive, you get a feeling for it.
Gabby needs a few games starting on the bench before people start to turn and also for him to clear his head.
Now we also shouldn't get carried away with the result because it was a division three team and we were always going to win. It will however cause a headache for Martin O'Neill; how can he drop Maloney and Moore after they've both scored tonight and played so well against Fulham?
There may also be an argument for Harewood instead of Carew; but we'll have to see how that pans out. I'm inclined to go Harewood, but I'll leave my final decision for my match prediction later in the week.
Anyway, it's over and we are in the next round. Maloney sounded as if he enjoyed the game and it's playing that will help him settle; he is after all a football player.
It also looks like I've lost another bet after Watford let me down but we've got the last few days of the transfer window to look forward to now.
