I wasn't going to do this tonight because it's not the league but I think I've got a problem because I couldn't help myself. That, or it might be because I'm not paying for it.

It's just the one ten quid bet tonight and it's on four Carling Cup matches and Liverpool to win at home.

Midweek Bet
Watford, Hereford (L), Villa, Reading and Liverpool - A £10 bet pays £118.40.

Based on my banker bet rule I should win one out of every four and this is the fourth bet. It doesn't mean I will definitely win this one but by the end of the season it will even itself out. However, I'm quite confident about tonight.

My only real concern looking at these matches is Watford away at Southend but I've got a feeling they'll go to win and it's not that far from home but it is the one where I feel the bet could slip up.

Anyway, I need to win one eventually so if you wanted to follow the bet now would be as good a time as any.
