AVFC Blog Punt: Punting it away on Sunderland
Written by Damian

It wasn't a successful weekend as I lost both bets but I've committed to doing this for the season and I'm going to kick on.

Fortunately however, a very nice company have come along and offered to pay for all my bets in August. Big thanks to easyodds.com for arranging this.

Not even my banker came good at the weekend with Manchester United drawing but I expect different things from them tonight, even though they are away.

I'm keeping it simple for tonight but the team that is either going to win or lose this bet tonight is Sunderland. I'm punting it on Sunderland mainly because I can't put money on Blues to get anything, even at home, but I also reckon Roy Keane could do something special this season.

While I'm in this betting mood I've got to tell you I'm getting into my online gambling. It's a risky business but I think that's where the fun is. Also, I'm betting with other peoples money, if you bet with your own, bet responsibly.

My Banker Bet
Manchester United (W), Fulham (W), Chelsea (W) and Sunderland (W). For a £10 bet I stand to win £152.40.

My Happy Days Bet
Manchester United (W), Fulham (W), Chelsea (W), Sunderland (W), Manchester City (W) and Wigan (D). For a £10 bet I stand to win £800.11.

For a running total of bets made and winnings we've put a little graphic to the right of all the news pages and the homepage. To see what bets have been made visit the punting page.

Watched spurs game last night, similar problem as us with no creativity in midfield like Arteta proved last night. Petrov still not cutting the mustard we need inspirational players like berger on the pitch with a bit of flair and an eye for the pass.

i have been re-thinking my satance on all of the transfer stuff over the last 24 hours and was just about to come to a compramise with myslef... then i saw this...

some doesnt sound to good but there is something in what he is say that makes me think theres a subliminal message smilies/cheesy.gif

to say that he has quality signings ready for plan b makes me wonder what plan a might be

im stilll really p**sed off that this hasnt been sorted yet, that we had to fave liverpool in what i genuinely believe to be a thrown game..

but we will see. he even says with tv money he expected prices to rise.. why not pay them,

he is going to get such a huge bite on the arse byt the 31st when he realises how much more on top of the inflated prices hes gonna pay for last minute buying
