It's not that the official website hasn't churned out a fair chunk of news the past few days but it's almost all old news and when reading the title you know what it's going to be about.
This is probably because the two lads that deliver the content didn't get invited to Spain or possibly because they are in Spain and cant get any new news up because they've not found an internet connection or they're hungover.
When I found out the club were going to MPFS I was tempted to buy a ticket and go over but the wife was very clear about my chances. Still, I'm a little surprised that we're not hearing anything about this trip as the team have been there since Tuesday.
Still, we've got some matches this weekend and as I've hit a little winning streak recently because I've not had a bet on Villa I've decided to pick my matches and place a little wager.
The weekend betting fund is up to ?15 until the rest of the season because of a couple of good wins but instead of punting it all on the one bet I'm going to split it on three. The one I'm willing to publish is as follows; Manchester United, Charlton, Liverpool and Watford to win and Boro to draw.
I'm playing a little safer with the other tenner but I'm getting 2169/50 with the above little wager and I've had four come in this season, so you never know.
Until next week, when hopefully we'll have some news from Spain and I'll have something more interesting to write about.
