| Well, the last player to attack Riise is our very own John Carew, which is an excellent fellow. Still, Bellamy has more of a history that Carew does. |

| I'm not so sure about this rumour. You can see why he's being linked with us but at the same time do we have space for someone at potentially such a huge cost financially and to the team morale? We already have Carew, Young, Moore, Agbonlahor, Angel and Sutton who can play his position, not to mention any youngsters at reserve level like williams, mcgurk who may be looking to make the jump up... Although i've seen him tear villa apart on a few occasions when he was playing for the barcodes, i really wouldn't want to see him at VP under any circumstances... |

| Young, Gabby and Moore are not the finished article. Bellamy has good strength and technique, and is quite consistent. Would be worth a punt for the right price. |

maybe bellamy has been the scapegoat for a lot of things thats happened, its been reported that he attacked riise with a golf club but in another paper it was reported that it was dudek arrested and the guy who ownes the resort was on the radio saying that there was no trouble... its just the press causing trouble again. i would take bellamy anyday of the week. he is full of running , he is tenacious, passionate ,he hates to lose and more importantly he is a class striker who with a run of games , knows where the net is o'neill would make sure he stayed in line |

| to be honest i wouldn't buy him if i were MON, he's too much of a truble maker and i don't want an image of villa as being trouble makers! anyway he's a good player, but with the money we have now, we can look at better players without bad reputations. up the villa!!! |

| If anyone could get the best out of bellamy its our MON, I say sign him up, the guy has great pace, commitment and knows where the goal is. You also know that the fact we have been linked with Bellamy means he will score against us when we play Liverplop!! just like Defoe, Stearman, Sidwell etc |

| It will ultimately fall at MON's door regarding whether he buys bellamy or not, but for us mere Villa Fans it is left to discuss. There is surely no doubting that Bellamy has talent, and if he kept his nose clean would be a major asset to the team. I feel that he offers pace in abundance and clearly has an eye for goal although has never been prolific for any of the teams he has played for. He showed some evidence regarding the best of his talents for the Barcodes during the time that Robson was in charge, and I doubt he will be much better than this though. He is a player I like to sum up as 'what you see is what you get'. Also something else that you need to concider is that is he better than what we have? At this precise moment I would say yes, but our players are developing and to reduce their playtime and developement I beleive would be detrimental to the squad as a whole. It is a tough one and I am undecided. I can honestly say that it will not make me jump for joy like the prospect of getting Carew did, but at the same time I wouldn't see it as bad business if he came to us for say 5 - 6 mil. What I don't want to hear is us spending 12 million on the guy. That sort of money should be spent on the likes of Huntelaar say. |

The guy's a thug, pure and simple. Whatever skills he might have as a player are overshadowed by the fact that he's disruptive to any squad he's involved with. And, to be honest I think we can do better. We don't need him and don't want him. Let's just get behind the players we have now instead of speculating about the players that 'might' be. Up the Villa! |

Bellamy is a great talent .There is no doubt about it.But he is just bit rude at times.I won't mind if he was rude with the opponent ,But the problem is he is ude with his own team mates. This might bring the team morale down. But some times this will boost their morale too as it happened to liverpool who scored 2 goals against Barca. |

| I can't believe MON would be that stupid and bring Bellamy into a team of players that get on well with each other. He's an enigma. Forget about his football talents. In one sentence or act this rodent can destroy a team. Stay well away from him, he's not worth the eventual cost. |

| There will be better strikers than Bellamy when the transfer window re-opens. Lets not forget our home grown talent with the likes of Moore and co. We need cover at centre back, right back and central midfield before another striker. |
