Aston Villa are heading to Spain for a winter break next week. They are popping off to the Marbella Paradise of Football and Sports complex, used by teams like Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and Malaga.

The complex boasts four training centres, a FIFA approved 11-a-side pitch, 7-a-side pitches and two football/tennis courts.

There is also a professional fitness and spa area for the players to work off injuries or niggles including a sauna, a jacuzzi and hydro-massage showers.

If you're in Spain or interested in watching the training click here for more information. The club arrives on February 20th.

There's nothing better than a mid winter break in Spain to gee you up, and that's what the squad need.
They should come back well refreshed, I just hope they bring us a straw donkey smilies/wink.gif
Nothing is too good for the team now Randy Lerner is here.

I agree that a few days training in spain should do the Cilla squad good and keep them ticking over waiting for the Fulham game. Hopefully the boys will come back refreshed and raring to go. We can then finish of the last 10 games with some real grit, and hopefully a good few wins.

I coached at MPF for a while, it's an awesome place to train! Although the sauna was about 30 degrees too hot for me smilies/cry.gif

As for the gym, it's many years out of date so doubt the players will be in there much, so I expect lots of outdoor football specific coaching, which I believe will be a huge benefit for us!

Hopefully the squad will come back full of confidence and energy!
