For Sale: Striker with bags of potential

Milan Baros is either for sale or the official website is doing it's best to create a little unrest for the player by quoting Martin O'Neill as saying the player may not want to stay at the club.

While this has appeared on Sky Sports and the bible of truth, the Daily Mirror I just wish the official club site wouldn't publish something for the sake of publishing.

We know Martin O'Neill said this and the context is quite clear but all they're doing this morning is adding credibility to this story and creating speculation.

We're not worried about what the manager has to say it's what the club site is saying that worries us, especially when they come out with these pearls of wisdom 'Martin O'Neill last night conceded Milan Baros' Villa future could be in doubt after the striker's miserable first half of the season'.

This isn't Martin O'Neill talking but the club speculating if a player stays or not based on the number of goals he has scored; this isn't for the official club website to do in my opinion.

If we want speculation or opinion we've got loads of sites for this. If we visit the official site we want news. I'm fed up visiting it expecting that and getting something I've read three times already. Everything else at the club seems to be changing for the better so why not the web site?

Will Baros stay at the club though? I think he probably will until Mr O'Neill has a replacement in but I don't think he has a future. Aston Villa are not playing to his strengths at the moment and I don't think he's a happy player. I can say that as this is a blog, not an official mouthpiece for the club.

Last season he did ok but this season he has been a total waste of time, we need to get back as much money as possible for him and invest it on other players, thats my view
