New CEO and CFO for Aston Villa

Richard FitzGerald (we did do a double check to make sure that's how you spell his name) is the new CEO of Aston Villa Football Club. Mr FitzGerald comes from IMG, the sports and media group, where he was Senior Vice President and head of IMG's New Media International business.
Robin Russell joins as CFO. Russell has spent that the last 12 year's as Chief Financial Officer of MBNA Europe.
On one of the forums the General did say the new CEO would be the right person for the job and judging by previous positions alone they both certainly sound like they are the right people for the job.
All we need now is confirmation that the General is fan liaison officer and it will be a good day.

These appointments show the professionalism of the man, they have first class credentials and the sort we want to see at the club.
