As regular visitors to this site will know I'm not one to complain, often anyway, but with the news today that Charles Chandler Krulak, or Chuck as we like to call him, is visiting forums and listening to the fans we'd like to ask him to do something about Villa World or AVTV, or whatever they call it now.
We've got the presenter, Jack Somebody, giving 'shouts out' like they're going out of fashion and him talking about the bubble bursting. I don't tune in, or more importantly pay the money, to listen to him talk about bubbles bursting or giving 'shouts out' to people listening.

I listen, or I should say want to listen, to coverage of the match. I don't think I'm asking for much and when I listen to other broadcasts from other teams I enjoy it so much more. Jack whatever his name is needs to go on a course, take a year out or try and do it differently.
It's also little things like the official web site making grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Tonight they've got Martin O'Neill down as Mertin O'Neill, as demonstrated by our image to the right. Now, while I don't expect we spell every word correctly we're also not an official site, we are a blog.
The irony is that Mertin isn't even a word so they clearly didn't spell check it before publishing! It is a joke and needs to be fixed!
We lost tonight to a better team. By all accounts, I listened on the radio if you hadn't guessed, it was because they were simply the better team.
Steven Davis wasn't in the game and in my opinion shouldn't have started. Barry and Laursen came off at half time for Berger and Ridgewell and Villa still didn't look like they were going to kick on.
At two nil I started writing this and now I'm about to finish it's 4-0. I'm disappointed but I'm not going to harp on about it. The match is over and we've lost.
Good luck to Chelsea, they'll probably do well in this tournament now that United are out but I would have so liked a good result tonight as I had a few quid on it. I'm going to stick the rest of my spare weekly cash on Villa to win this weekend!

Sorry to see you lose tonight! Big MON is a great manager, and I thought you'd win. Unlucky! There is a growing villa fanbase on the new forum I posted in the title. And plenty of debate! Don't Delay, Join today! The forum is reasonably new too!
not a good result and i feel sorry for the fans that travelled as it didn't sound like a good game
i also listened to jack woodwood and i agree abot what you say. my account ends in 2 monts but i wont be renewing!
i got another option fo rthe 2nd half and it was so much better. they talked about the match and not about a load of crap that had no point to the game. its embrassing
its only the leaue cup. happy days. concentrate on the league. we need A BIT OF EUROPENE FOOTBALL, A few sigings in the window. the team is week. Relyng on angel is goin to take us no where. Gareth barry. U little beauty.
Was at the game. Am now in work, having had less than five hours sleep, but such is my devotion to the Villa.
Once Barry went off, I had a horrible feeling we were going to get thrashed. He has, of late, been the most prolific creative influence on the players, and nobody stepped up when he had to go off. McCann was back to his old ways, not marking anyone, letting people get passed him unchallenged; unlike Makelele who was his usual influential self.
Also want to say that the Chelsea away end is awful. We ended up sitting in the lower block, but if we tried to stand up we couldn't see anything due to the overhang from the upper block. And the seats were crammed in; I'm only 5'8", but I struggled to have enough leg room! The Chelsea crowd were dull as ditchwater, so I'm glad the Villa boys and girls sang their hearts out!
A shame we lost GB and Laursen at half-time as that really changed the game for them.
I tink the changes made to the team, Davis in midfield and Agbonlahor upfront in a 4-4-2, also made us a little unstable in comparison to the team that played Chelsea last time. We missed Moore too, he always plays well against Chelsea and his extra dimension would've been useful last night.
Fair play to the support they were wonderful and gave the stadium some atmosphere- I don't think that was going to come from the home end.
Also, I was disappointed to see idiots trying to coin Carlo Cudicini. Not sure that was picked up like the bottle incident, but it's not nice to see at football and there's no place for it.
I don't think a lot of those families will be attending again. A performance bereft of any hope, energy, brains or ability :(
I have been very unimpressed with the official site for sometime, I am a webdesigner of 6+ years and have contacted the site on various occasions becuase of errors. Podcasts that are set up incorrectly so would not actually work on an iPod, text colour that is lighter than its background making you feel like you've been looking through blinds after you've read it and villa world is just a college project.
