Done deal: Welcome to Aston Villa Mr Lerner

It's not actually a done deal but it's a done deal, if you know what I mean. Randy Lerner is as good as the new owner of Aston Villa Football Club and we are all 'children of the randylution'.

There are certainly exciting times ahead for us. We've finally got a manager that can develop players and many more skills on top of that, a new owner who wants to make Aston Villa great again and I think more importantly we have a belief that Aston Villa can go on to achieve success.

We've ran a few polls here the last few weeks and we've had lots of emails in recently and the mood is different. As far as I can see Mr O'Neill has the full support of every fan and Mr Lerner will be welcome like a King returning from battle.

I for one am in a positive and happy mood today, welcome to the 'randylution'.
