Turbulent times ahead for all Aston Villa supporters: Enter Sven

Sky Sports are reporting that Sven-Goran Eriksson's agent Athole Still was seen leaving Villa Park tonight. Now we've potentially got Svennis, Lerner and Michelle all fighting for Aston Villa.

The first to move in these situations is normally the one that knows they've got no chance; they're looking for publicity. With a bit of luck we'll not see a Neville inside Villa Park for a long time to come.

The two likely contenders are Randy Lerner, who you've got to love if only for his name and Still, although we don't know who he is representing; it is likely a credible prospect. Also, if Sven is involved it can only be a good thing as he's not going to do something without a solid plan and good revenue potential.

An exciting day or two ahead and sources close to the Aston Villa Blog tell us Sven is very serious about getting involved at Villa Park, for more than one reason.
