Martin O'Neill is a wanted man

We started to run a quick question yesterday on who the Villa supporters wanted as the next Aston Villa manager and the winner with 63.3% of the vote is Martin O'Neill.

He won't be asking fellow Irishman David O'Leary for any opinion on Villa if the view of most is similar to that of Tony Cascarino, who wrote a great piece about O'Leary today, which I suspect it is.

Martin O'Neill is wanted but the bookies have Alan Curbishley down as the favourite and they are rarely wrong; but would he want back into football so soon after wanting to leave? I'm not convinced.

Villa play Walsall tonight and I suspect we'll get a good victory with some good football now that the O'Leary influence is no longer involved. Judging by some of the rumours we're hearing most of the squad are happy that he's gone!
