David O'Leary has left Aston Villa.

This is a great day for Villa. He was quite possibly the most incompetent fool in football during his time in management and there is only one direction the club can now go; forward.

On the official website they say he was uncovered, I'm not entirely sure what that means but I suspect it may change so I've saved the page.
