New manager needed if season ticket sales are to get better

We ran a poll yesterday focused on season ticket sales and renewals. A report in one of the Birmingham papers a while ago said that season ticket sales were 40% down on the previous year wo we wanted to know why.

Judging by the results of the poll, most will only renew or buy a season ticket as soon as the manager has gone; well 83.5% anyway. David O'Leary is quite probably the worst manager I've ever had the misfortune to see at Villa Park and we've had some bad ones.

The only hope we have over the whole O'Leary situation is that Ellis could be looking for a new man as I write this. If he's not and the report in the paper was true then attendance next season is going to be worse than the one just gone.

Martin O'Neill would like a job in football again. I have a feeling he'd come to Villa, knowing the club was for sale and with the strong group of players we have. Come on Doug, call the man.
