The Independent are today saying that David O'Leary is after Michael Bridges of Carlisle and the fist reason this is pure speculation is that O'Leary is about to get the sack so any paper writing that he's after players is clearly in cloud cuckoo land.
The second reason this is pure speculation, although you could actually believe that O'Leary is going after a player coming to the end of his career, (Bridges will be 28 when the season starts) is that we've already got enough strikers that are younger and better than the player currently plying his trade in League Two or as some prefer to remember it, Division 4.
It's a David O'Leary Out day when Sunderland visit and Ellis will get the message; they'll be no O'Leary next season so don';t worry about him wasting more money or us getting relegated next season.
