Birmingham City are relegated: Liverpool 3 Villa 1

It doesn't matter that we lost today as we all knew it would happen and Birmingham City are relegated. The game was actually quite embarrassing to watch though and some of it actually made me cringe.

O'Leary got out of his seat twice, once at half time and once at the end of the game. He did nothing and he's done nothing for 3 seasons. Time he left.

To the match and Liverpool didn't really get out of second gear, it was as if they knew they could but didn't have to. Villa starting 4-5-1 made it easy for them as they knew they would have most of the possession.

Baros was the only striker for the first half and didn't even show for the second as Angel replaced him. I suspect he's played his last game for Villa and maybe, with a bit of luck O'Leary has managed his last game also.

I don't think Baros was subbed because of his performance. You can't sub a striker when he's playing in a 4-5-1 formation as he can't really be blamed for the formation and lack of attacking. He's probably had an argument with O'Leary over his crap managerial abilities.

I'm actually too happy to continue with the report. There was a great moment though with 2 minutes to go in the first half when the a Liverpool player had a shot and it hit a Villa player in the hand, it was very much ball to hand but the Liverpool fans called for handball.

Every time a Liverpool player touched the ball after that the Villa fans shouted for handball, class.

Birmingham City are relegated though and that's all that matters and I'm now going to get drunk and come back to this later.
