With the news that Wilfred Bouma is still injured coupled with the fact that Gareth Barry is suspended this weekend it looks like JLloyd Samuel will make a rare start for Aston Villa when the Hammers travel to Villa Park. Samuel made it quite clear this week that he is willing to leave Aston Villa if it means getting regular football and getting to start this weekend and playing a good game will do his chances of getting a few offers no harm. If he plays well it also makes it difficult for manager David O'Leary to drop the player but we've heard that one before. More team news as we hear it. |

I got my fingers well and truly burnt last time out on this or I should say I got done for breakfast last time we played the Hammers - I'm not going to make the same mistake again. Damian has gone for a Villa win but I'm not so sure. Last time out they did out strongest team and they'll come here knowing they can do it again. |

I got a lot of stick from West Ham fans after the 4-0 defeat earlier in the season, mainly because I predicted a victory but also because it was a great result for them and they were enjoying the moment - probably thinking that it wouldn't last forever. That was when I had what little belief or maybe we should call it hope, I had left in David O'Leary and his strongest side. |

This is what the FA Cup is all about; giving the lower league teams a chance to play and possibly beat a Premiership team. This weekend will be no different and of all the matches Aston Villa is one of the ones that could possibly see an upset and you'll get 3/1 at Expekt. |

One thing I won't be doing is underestimating Hull this weekend and we can expect to hear a lot of talk from David O'Leary about how he and the players won't be taking this lightly but I do expect an Aston Villa win. When we do win expect David O'Leary to be telling us that that was to put right the result at Doncaster and a lot of other blarney that we've come to expect. |

This is the first Premiership game of 2006 and one where David O'Leary can, if he wants to really make a statement and one where Cuddly Doug Ellis can say goodbye to his beloved. David O'Leary won't be telling us he cross dresses at the weekend but based on how his team play and the manner in which they come out of the traps will be a signal to the supporters of Aston Villa that he means business or he's just got very lucky the last few games. |

They are only going to get more difficult to predict after this match. Although we're on form and scoring goals for fun I just don't know how we're going to beat Arsenal and my banker bet is not only a home defeat but a score prediction. Thierry Henry looked really good when they beat Portsmouth the other day and I've no doubt if he plays he'll be pivotal in the Arsenal victory. The Frenchman has scored 10 times in nine Premiership appearances against us and I've got a sneaky feeling he'll probably score again. |

Arsenal Arsenal Arsenal. Tough opposition but not as tough as they were a couple of seasons ago. You can put some of it down to Patrick Viera leaving and some Arsenal fans will probably put it all down to that. I think most football supporters outside of North London also see Henry leaving this summer and then where will Arsenal be? |

It's going to be a tough game. Fulham played well against Chelsea the other day and the only teams we seem to be able to beat are those that are not playing well. I want to say draw but my hear says no, a Villa win. Put it down to festive cheer or the fact that David O'Leary is right and I am fickle but I think they've turned the corner and will now push on to European football and FA Cup success. |

Everyone was wrong about the Everton game and based on how the players played I don't think many will want to stick their necks out apart from that is Mark Lawrenson with his match prediction - a Fulham win. Fulham are one point and one place behind us going into this match and with home advantage I can understand why Lawrenson has predicted the victory but I just cant see it. |
