The only Arsenal fans I know are sound, but I guess you always get some of the idiots come across on the internet, well we have in Gunner For Life anyway.

I'm quite confident because this is some real fighting talk from Marton O'Neill, I think he's really sarting to feel we're a genuinely good side in terms of ability as well as heart and spirit (which we've had for a while since he took over I guess).

... Although saying that, Arsenal owe somebody a real battering. They're going to bum some poor team into oblivion sometime soon I think and hopefully that won't be us tomorrow. 1-1 or 1-2 Villa!

Oh, and Martin O'Leary?! ""I know we are capable of going to Arsenal and winning the game. I genuinely believe that. We have got ability in the side and pace in the side...
... Oh, and they're a good bunch of lads." - SuperSeanUK

Gonner for Life must have been waiting, cursor poised to spread his vitriol across the blog! The sheer arrogance of them makes my blood boil, no other set of fans can compare. I want to see us win, and I would prefer ManUre for the title. - andy5759

We'll have the pace and the punch- I'd like to see Marlon in by the 60th minute with the game 1-1 (Maloney will score just before half from a set piece). Harewood will then hit the winner in the 78th min. for a 2-1 win. MARK MY WORDS Gunner for life! Up the VILLA!! - MDVillian

Here is the betting on Paddy Power

Arsenal v Aston Villa
Home 4 - 9
Draw 3 - 1
Away 6 - 1

Arsenal Form guide shows Home WWWDWW Away LDWWWD
Vila form guide Home LDWWDW Away DDWLW

The form guide is the reason for the 6-1 on a Villa win. I have a feeling though Villa will hold on to a one nil win this time.

WEBFLASH Villa have a new manager:

Taken from the BBC Wesite, 14:30 today:

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Leary:
"I know we are capable of going to Arsenal and winning the game. I genuinely believe that. We have got ability in the side and pace in the side.
"We know Arsenal are very good and also very capable of beating us but we are definitely going with a lot of confidence. We are going well.

"We are a much better team than we were 18 months ago.

"I know we got a draw at their place last season but it was the first game at the Emirates and these are different circumstances. Arsenal were just finding their feet a bit as we were.

"We might get beaten Saturday but we are a much better side than we were then."

I'm hoping that Villa learned from their mistake last time when, for 45 minutes, we sat back too deep and let them play at us. If we can play for 90 minutes like we did for the last 45, i don't think their defence will be able to cope. I'd expect them to use Clichy and Toure to keep up with Young and Gabi, but i still think they're faster and will find a way through somehow.

Going to be a tough, challenging game. 1-1 i think, but it will be exciting also. - Dizzy Mugs

Villa are a good side under O'Neill. There's obviously some quality coaching going on as you've some talented players coming through. This time though I think you'll leave North London empty handed. - Ministry of Football

i may be so wrong but i really fancy us to get something at the weekend.
blues opened up arsenals defence a few times with 10 men. we have more pace and better quality and i think we can do the same on the break. - tonebone

last away victory in london - i think charlton at the end of the 03/04 season. 2-1 and they missed a penalty deep in injury time. think that was after the fulham game u r referring to. - tonebone

I think we'll struggle to get anything out of Arsenal - they're just that good. Saying that, it's probably a good time to play them after the Blues game with them maybe having one eye on the champions league.

Any points would be a bonus, but you never know... - PaulE
