A terrific player.

The first time I saw Little play was at Villa Park on a dreadfully wet day. The pitch was like a mire.

My facts may be incorrect but I think it was against Oldham. Brian had a brilliant match on the left wing and the Villa won 6-0. Andy Lockhead bagged a few - possibly 3.

A real class act. - Holte1970

"Brian Little Walks on Water". Graffiti from my childhood on a wall in Erdington. Says it all really.

Very few players leave Villa and retain any form of relationship or respect from the fans. Brian left us (for varying reasons) four times as a player/coach/manager - and he's still a God to us all.

Being one of the fortunate ones to see him play I feel privileged. He played with a swagger. With style. With grace. A genuis in other words. - davidb
